A person, a small business, and a lot of software. Here is who is behind this site and why you can trust what it says.
Me
I'm Andi Thornton. I run Art Digital Media, a small marketing and web design company in the UK. It is a company of one. There is no team, no assistant, no outsourced agency behind the curtain. There is me, and there are the bots.
I am not a developer. I do not write code. What changed for me in 2025 was that the AI tools got good enough to build and run real systems from plain English instructions, and I started using them for the jobs that ate my week: writing the blog, auditing prospects' websites, fixing and deploying client sites, tracking rankings, reporting. A large part of my working week is now done by software I set up and supervise.
This site is the notebook. Every automation here is one I run. Every tool review is of a tool I pay for or have paid for. When something breaks, and it does, that goes in too.
The bots
"Bots" is my word for the software that does work on its own once it is set up: an AI assistant that writes and researches, a server that keeps the sites online and runs the scripts, and the tools I am trialling to take over the rest: a CRM that follows up leads, and an automation tool that moves data between everything else. The rules for what gets recommended
- I use it or I say I don't. A review of something I have only read about will say so in the first paragraph.
- Prices are checked on the day of writing and the date is on every article. If a price looks wrong, it probably changed, and I would like to know.
- Affiliate links never decide the verdict. Some links earn a commission if you buy. The tool I would tell a friend to buy is the tool that gets recommended, whether or not it pays me. How the affiliate links work.
- No invented numbers. Where a figure appears, its source is listed at the bottom of the article.
- Plain English. If a sentence needs a developer to understand it, it gets rewritten.
